You don't learn anything. You don't buy software. You don't manage a project. We build working AI into your business and hand it over running. Thirty days later you take five business days off and nobody calls you.
Twenty minutes on the phone. You name one call only you can make. You get it written down as a rule your people can actually use. Yours either way.
Most AI pitched at your business automates tasks. Tasks are not why you are still here at seven o'clock. Your people can already do the tasks.
What they cannot do is make your calls. That is what the phone rings about when you are away, and it is the part every tool on the market skips.
So we do not build "how to handle a vendor delay." We build how you decide which vendor delays matter — and then the AI makes that call the way you would.
One of my guys spent about two hours every Monday updating our project board with geographic need data. Manual pull from 40 tabs, into a spreadsheet, into the board.
I built him a Claude agent. It runs Sunday night. He's done before he's in Monday morning.
Two hours × 52 weeks = a full work week back. Every year.
That one was easy, and it is not the kind that keeps you here. Forrest's job had steps. I wrote them down and a machine followed them. The ones that keep you in the building are the calls nobody can write down — and those are the ones we go after.
— Josh, on the first agent I ever built for my own business
Every owner has forty of these. Quoting off a spec when the customer changed it mid-run. Which RFQ gets answered today and which waits. Whether that PO mismatch is worth a phone call. Which customer you never chase for payment. Re-keying an order that came in over the phone.
None of them is hard. All of them are yours. That is the whole problem.
We call it Judgment Capture. We sit down with you, work out how you actually make one of those calls, write it as a rule, then build the thing that makes it. One at a time, until you can leave.
Both start with the Bus Test — twenty minutes, free, and you keep what comes out of it whether or not we ever speak again.
If we do not think we can help you, we will say so on the call.
Half at kickoff. Half after your five days off.
Roughly one month of a fractional COO. Splits available.
"At the end of thirty days you take five consecutive business days off. You get half your money back for every day someone had to call you. All five days clean, or we keep working free until they are."
Not hours saved. Not a dashboard. The actual thing you have not been able to do. Free work is capped at 30 additional days so it stays a real promise rather than an open-ended one.
15 years selling B2B — Cutco, insurance, government bids, textiles. Currently building AI agents inside my own $18M business. The Bus Test on this page is the question I ask myself every time an owner tells me he cannot get away.
25 years at E*TRADE. Top 5% nationally for a decade. Certified Sales Coach. Handles the human side of the handoff — what to hand off, what to keep in your own hands, and how to tell your people you are actually leaving. Joe runs the 90-Day work with me.
Because we build it and you never touch it. No tool to learn, no seat license, no project to manage. That is the entire difference and it is most of the reason people buy.
The rest of it: most people pitching you AI cannot describe what your business actually does. If we get on the Bus Test and cannot tell you something true about your operation in the first ten minutes, hang up on us.
They usually do. SOPs capture steps, and steps are not the bottleneck. Your people can follow steps. What they cannot do is make the call.
We do not document "how to handle a vendor delay." We work out how you decide which vendor delays matter, write that down as a rule, and then build the thing that applies it.
Twenty minutes on the phone. You name one decision that only you can make. We ask you enough questions to work out how you actually make it — not how you would describe it in a meeting.
Then we write it up as a one-page rule and send it to you. You keep it whether or not we ever speak again. No card. If we do not think we can help you, we will say so on that call rather than sell you something.
Because five hundred dollar automations are why the category has a bad reputation. The professional floor for one properly built workflow with error handling and a handover is about five thousand dollars. Anyone quoting well under that is either doing something simpler than they implied or is about to disappear.
For context on the same problem: a fractional COO at your revenue runs six to ten thousand a month. A median ERP implementation is four hundred and fifty thousand dollars over fifteen months. This is a cheap answer to an expensive problem.
We will tell you in writing before you pay anything, which almost nobody in this category does.
Model usage and hosting are real recurring costs and they are the single most common complaint from people who bought AI work and felt misled. You will have the number up front. If it does not make sense against what the agent saves you, do not buy it.
Usually true, and it does not matter as much as you would think. We are not plugging into a nineteen ninety machine controller. We are working on the decisions that happen around it — the quote, the RFQ that gets dropped, the order that came in over the phone, the PO that does not match the invoice.
If the honest answer for your shop is that this will not work, the Bus Test is where we find that out, and it costs you twenty minutes.
Reasonable question and the honest answer is that the models will be better. But the thing we are actually building is the written record of how you make decisions, and that does not get cheaper or easier later. It gets harder, because there is more of it and you have less time.
The model is the easy part. Getting it out of your head is the work.
If you already have a general manager who can run the place for a week, you do not need us. If you are under about two million in revenue, the maths usually does not work. If you want to learn to build these yourself, buy a course, they are cheaper and they are fine.
We turn work down on the Bus Test call regularly. It is a twenty minute conversation, not a qualification hoop.
You take your five days at the end of thirty. Every day someone has to call you, you get half that day's share of the fee back. If all five are not clean, we keep working free until they are, capped at another thirty days so it is a real promise and not a vague one.
Half the fee is not due until after those five days anyway.
Twenty minutes. You name one decision only you can make. You get it back written down as a rule your people can use. Yours to keep whether or not we ever work together.
